Soylicious.com Candles Testimonials Here is what one of my customers who ordered from my online web store had to say!
Soylicious.com Scented Jar Candles Review
I bought a couple of Soylicious.com Cascade
jars. My past experience with
soy candles hasn't been good. I've tried
both hand-poured ones from
little mom and pop candle shops and some from big
box stores like
Walmart and Target. The soy wax in those candles had an
unpleasant odor
that interfered with the fragrance oil. The smell reminds
of treated
binder twine used in bailing hay. The Soylicious candles have no
odor
other than the fragrance oil they are scented with. I was amazed
because I thought all soy wax inherently stunk. Whatever blend of wax
Soylicious.com is using to make their candles, they've got a winner.
The
candles also create an even wax pool across the entire surface.
There is no
tunneling, therefore no wasted wax. They did not smoke
except when the
candle is blown out (just like all candles do) and there
no sooty residue on
the jars. One other thing I noticed is that the
burn time is significantly
longer than any other candles I've tried.
I've been burning the candles for
a few hours a day over the last couple
of days, and I barely see the wax
level going down. These are
definitely long lasting
candles.
Mediterranean Water
Mediterranean Water is a very light
and pleasing scent. The fragrance is
clean and smells like warm sunshine on
an isolated white Greek beach.
However, I would like to have seen this one
a little stronger. I make
my own candles so I know that some oils simply
aren't as strong as
others so you can't always add more oil to make them
stronger.
White Nectarine and Pink Coral
White Nectarine and Pink
Coral is a very true nectarine fragrance and
not the least bit artificial.
This one had a little more scent than
Mediterranean Water. I'm not big fan
of fruity smells, but I loved this
one because it smelled real, just like a
fresh cut nectarine.
Soylicious.com Soy Soap
I also ordered some of
the unscented soap. I make my own cold process
soap so I'm familiar with
formulating soap recipes. The Soylicious soap
doesn't create a lot of
bubbly lather, but rather makes a creamy lather
when using a bath poof.
Soap makers know that while big bubbly lather
is luscious, it's also very
drying. Smaller bubbles and creamier lather
is more within range of what
defines a luxury bar of soap. The
Soylicious soap is very emollient. I
can't possibly imagine how anyone
can step out of the shower after using it
and complain about itchy
skin. I can honestly say that if you still itch
after using it, you
really need to invest in an inline water filter for your
shower head.
It's my personal opinion that Soylicous.com soap has other
soaps
outranked in the skin conditioning department. I really liked it a lot.
It would be very soothing for those suffering from eczema or psoriases.
